As titled, I hope I can use it without a WIFI.
Does the frame need to be connected to wifi all the time or only when pictures are uploaded?

The frame does not need to be constantly connected to WiFi. Once the initial setup (Out of Box Experience) is completed and photos are downloaded, you can view them without a network connection. However, due to storage constraints, not all photos from the cloud will be saved to the frame's local storage. As a result, there might be instances where some photos aren’t displayed if the frame isn't connected to WiFi. To ensure you can view all desired photos, we recommend connecting to WiFi and ensuring that the specific albums and photos are fully downloaded to the frame.

Can I get rid of the WiFi and Cloud icons displayed when not connected to WiFi?

@Kenneth You can! Just simply follow the settings>Display>turn off "Network status"
